Calling Lincoln Home

For the last 18 years my wife and I have called Lincoln home while raising our teenage daughter. In between volunteering and running a small technology firm, I enjoy the outdoors and watching my daughter play soccer.

I look forward to connecting with you to learn about your interests and concerns.

I am proud of my record of service and would be honored to earn your vote.

Priorities

Public Safety

Providing safe neighborhoods and responsive Fire protection is a core City responsibility. Stable and reliable funding underpins our ability to be one of the top 10 safest California cities.

Quality of Life

Smart growth ensures Lincoln's services, schools, roads, and quality of life thrive alongside its financial health. Essential to that is strengthening our commitment to integrated open space, parks, and trails as we meet the challenges of evolving market, energy, and infrastructure demands.

Downtown

Completing and executing the Downtown Specific Plan is a key priority. Downtown's opportunity and promise can only be unlocked if we work together to see the Plan through.

Fiscal Accountability

Spend taxpayer dollars efficiently. This includes forecasting beyond our two year budget so we can see over the horizon; alignment of one-time funds with one-time expenses; and understanding how specific plans impact the General Fund.

Economic Opportunity

Lincoln's people, industry, and infrastructure provide numerous economic opportunities. Three areas of focus: Downtown, the Airport, and support for local sports and event organizers bringing visitors to Lincoln.

City Services

Clean water, waste water treatment, and garbage collection are essential City Services. We need to make sure these services remain financially viable, high quality, and a good value for Lincoln Residents.

John has been a very engaged and effective city volunteer on the Fiscal and Investments Oversight Committee and the Planning Commission combined for the last four years. He is knowledgeable and brings common sense solutions to every situation. If elected, John will brings those same qualities to the city council and will help lead Lincoln with sound judgment and community spirit.

Holly Andreatta

Mayor Pro Tem, City of Lincoln

John Reedy will bring invaluable experience to our council, having served on both the city's FIOC committee and the planning commission. He is a thoughtful yet decisive leader, running for all the right reasons.

Whitney Eklund

City of Lincoln Planning Commissioner

It is my pleasure to endorse John Reedy for Lincoln City Council District 3. I have worked with John on the Lincoln Planning Commission and have witnessed John's capabilities and his passion for Lincoln demonstrated by his extensive review of the material before the Commission, the probing questions he asks and his well thought out comments on the myriad of items and issues that come before the Commission.

Additionally, John has a long history of volunteering within our community. District 3 has a choice, please make that choice John Reedy. He will make a fine councilman.

Michele Hutchinson

Chair, Lincoln Planning Commission
